The New York Giants announced that they have re-signed LB Mark Herzlich to an extension.
Herzlich, 26, was a restricted free agent, so this move prevent the Giants from using a restricted tender on him.
He played in all 16 games for Giants last season and totaled 42 tackles and a pass defensed. Pro Football Focus has him down for playing 194 to go along with a poor rating -6.8 on the season.
