Giants Re-Sign TE Garrett Dickerson, Place WR/PR Quadree Henderson On IR

The New York Giants announced Monday that they’ve re-signed TE Garrett Dickerson to their active roster and placed WR/PR Quadree Henderson on injured reserve.

Dickerson, 22, wound up going undrafted out of Northwestern and later signed a three-year, $1.71 million contract with the Giants in June. Unfortunately, he was waived coming out of the preseason and later signed to the team’s practice squad.

Dickerson has been on and off of the Giants’ practice squad this season.

During his four-year college career at Northwestern, Dickerson caught 88 passes for 896 yards receiving and nine touchdowns over the course of 36 games.

Henderson, 22, wound up signing on with the Steelers as an undrafted free agent out of Pittsburgh back in April. He agreed to a three-year, $1.71 million contract but was, unfortunately, waived coming out of the preseason.

Henderson has been on and off of the Giants’ active roster this season.

In 2018, Henderson has appeared in five games for the Giants and totaled 112 kick return yards and 68 punt return yards.
