According to Art Stapleton, the Giants are re-signing QB Logan Thomas to their practice squad and are waiving LB Deontae Skinner to make room for him.
The Giants’ practice squad now consists of:
- QB Logan Thomas
- WRÂ Geremy DavisÂ
- WR Darius Powe
- OL Adam Gettis
- OL Shane McDermott
- DEÂ Stansly Maponga
- DE Ishaq Williams
- CBÂ Donte DeayonÂ
- CB Michael Hunter
- S Andrew Adams
Thomas, 25, is a former fourth-round pick of the Cardinals back in 2014. He lasted just over a year in Arizona before he was waived and later claimed by the Dolphins.
Thomas was in the third year his four-year, $2,652,092 rookie contract when the Dolphins waived him back in June and he was later claimed by the Giants.
New York would later add Thomas to their practice squad, but elected to waive him last week to add Skinner.
In 2014, Thomas appeared in two games for the Cardinals, even though they lost Carson Palmer and Stanton for the season. He threw for 81 yards and a touchdown but completed just a single pass attempt.
