Giants Release RB Jhurell Pressley From Practice Squad

According to Ryan Dunleavy, the Giants have released RB Jhurell Pressley from their practice squad on Thursday to make room for WR Quadree Henderson.

Here’s the Giants updated practice squad:

  1. OLB Avery Moss
  2. WR Alonzo Russell
  3. OT Victor Salako
  4. RB Robert Martin
  5. OT Jylan Ware
  6. DB Ronald Zamort
  7. DE Myles Humphrey
  8. TE Garrett Dickerson
  9. DB A.J. Howard
  10. WR Quadree Henderson

Pressley, 26, wound up signing on with the Vikings as an undrafted free agent out of back in 2016. He was cut loose coming out of the preseason and later claimed off of waivers by the Packers.

The Falcons eventually signed him to their practice squad before he was once again among the team’s final roster cuts. Pressley had a brief stint on the Falcons’ practice squad before joining the Jaguars midseason.

Pressley signed on with the Giants in August before later being added to their practice squad at the start of the season.

During his four years at the University of New Mexico, Pressley ran for 2,725 yards on 394 carries (6.92 YPC) to go along with 35 touchdowns.
