Giants Release WR Kevin Ogletree & Waive LB Terrell Manning

The Giants announced Thursday that they’ve released veteran WR Kevin Ogletree and waived LB Terrell Manning

Ogletree, 27, signed a one-year contract the Giants back in February, but it appears as though they prefer their options at the receiver position.

In 2014, Ogletree appeared in seven games and caught five passes for 50 yards and no touchdowns. Pro Football Focus has him down for playing just 96 total snaps last season and to go along with a negative rating of -1.6.

Manning, 25, is a former fifth-round pick of the Green Bay Packers back in 2012. However, he lasted just one year with the team before he was placed on waivers.

Since then, Manning has played for the Chargers, Vikings, Giants, Dolphins, Bears and Bengals before the Giants signed him in November of last year.

In 2014, Manning appeared in four games and has recorded a single tackle.
