Giants Release WR/KR Trindon Holliday From I.R.

Pro Football Talk is reporting that the Giants have released WR/KR Trindon Holliday from the injured reserve list.

Holliday, 28, signed a one-year deal worth $700,000 with the Giants back in March. The Giants placed Holliday on injured reserve over a month ago, so he could be healthy enough now to seek out new opportunities in the league.

Holliday was an extremely productive kick returner since he signed with the Broncos two years ago. During this time, he’s totaled 1,327 kick return yards, 752 punt return yards and four touchdowns.

However, he’s had three fumbles and hasn’t been able to contribute on offense outside of two receptions for 17 yards receiving. Pro Football Focus had him rated as the No. 12 kick returner in the league last year.
