Future/reserve contracts are essentially an opportunity for players compete for a roster spot in offseason workouts and during training camp.

Moore, 26, is a former second-round pick by the Broncos of the 2011 NFL Draft. He lasted four years in Denver before joining the Texans as an unrestricted free agent.

Unfortunately, he was released after just one season in Houston. The Browns signed Moore to a one-year, $1.85 million contract but cut him loose before the start of the season.

In 2015, Moore appeared in seven games for the Texans and recorded 16 tackles, one interception and two pass defenses before he was later benched. Pro Football Focus had him rated as the No. 56 safety out of 88 qualifying players.
