Giants Sign CB Brandon McGee To Their Practice Squad

The New York Giants announced that they’ve signed CB Brandon McGee and OL Xavier Proctor to their practice squad on Thursday.

• To make room for their new additions, the Giants released OL Adam Gettis and TE Dominique Jones.

The Giants’ practice squad now consists of:

1. CB Brandon McGee
2. OL Xavier Proctor
3. WR Julian Talley
4. WR Tavarres King 
5. QB G.J. Kinne 
6. LB James Morris
7. DB Tramain Jacobs
8. DE Brad Bars
9. OL Emmett Cleary
10. DT Montori Hughes (Exception)

McGee, 24, was taken by the Rams in the fifth round of the 2013 NFL draft. He was unfortunately among the team’s roster cuts over to a month ago, but later returned to the team’s practice squad. St. Louis elected to cut him loose again a few weeks ago.

McGee worked out for the Seahawks since becoming available, but did not receive an offer from them.

Last year, McGee appeared in two games for St. Louis and recorded four tackles.
