The New York Giants announced that they’ve signed CB Valentino Blake to a contract on Monday.
Blake has gone by his first, Antwon, previously.
Blake, 26, wound up signing on with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent out of back in 2012. He lasted just over a year in Jacksonville before he was waived at the start of the 2013 season and later claimed by the Steelers.
Pittsburgh brought Blake back on one-year deals for the 2014 and 2015 seasons before he later departed last March for a one-year, $1.3 million contract with the Titans.
In 2016, Blake appeared in all 16 games for the Titans and recorded 42 tackles, no interceptions and five pass defenses. Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 80 cornerback out of 112 qualifying players.
