Giants Sign Four Draft Picks Including WR Odell Beckham Jr.

The New York Giants announced on Monday that they have signed four draft picks including first-round selection WR Odell Beckham Jr.

  • New York also locked up C Weston Richburg (second-round), LB Devon Kennard (fifth-round) and CB Bennett Jackson (sixth-round).

The Giants now have six of their seven draft picks under contracts with third-round pick DT Jay Bromley the only remaining player that needs to be signed.

There was so much buzz surrounding Beckham Jr in the days leading up to the draft that some believe he may not fall out of the top-ten picks. The Giants came away with a great receiver who should really help to mitigate the loss of Hakeem Nicks in free agency.

Beckham Jr. should also give the Giants a solid return man as well.

Richburg was considered by many to be the No. 1 center in this year’s draft class, so it really wasn’t a surprise to see him come off the board in round two. The Giants made a priority to address their offensive line and there is no question that Richburg should help solid the center position for years to come.
