The Giants announced the signing of former fifth-round pick LB Terrell Manning on Monday.
Manning, 24, was last with the Vikings after they claimed off of waivers from the Chargers back in April. However, he last close to one month with Minnesota before they waived him.
This move probably has something to do with the recent foot injury suffered by Jon Beason, but Manning will face an uphill battle to make the team’s final 53-man roster in training camp.
Last year, he appeared in just one game for the Chargers and didn’t record and stats. In total, Manning has appeared in six total games in the NFL.
