Giants Sign P Brad Wing To A Three-Year, $6.45M Extension

The New York Giants announced Monday that they’ve signed P Brad Wing to a three-year contract extension that will keep him under team control through the 2019 season.

  • Ian Rapoport reports that Wing’s new contract with the Giants is a three-year extension worth $6.45 million and includes $3.725 million guaranteed. Wing receives a $2 million signing bonus as part of the new agreement.

Wing 25, originally signed on with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent out of LSU back in 2013. He later caught on with the Steelers in January of 2014 before later being traded to the Giants in return for a 2016 conditional seventh-round pick.

The Giants brought Wing back on a one-year, exclusive rights contract worth $600,000 back in April.

In 2016, Wing appeared in all 16 games for the Steelers and totaled 3,080 yards punting on 76 attempts and six touchbacks.
