The Giants are signing CB Michael Hunter to their practice squad on Thursday and placing DB Donte Deayon on the practice squad injured list, according to Ebenezer Samuel.

The Giants’ practice squad now consists of:

  1. WR Geremy Davis
  2. WR Darius Powe
  3. OL Adam Gettis
  4. DE Stansly Maponga
  5. DE Ishaq Williams
  6. CB Donte Deayon (injured)
  7. OT Laurence Gibson
  8. DB Doran Grant
  9. G Jon Halapio
  10. LB Eric Pinkins
  11. CB Michael Hunter

Hunter, 23, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Giants as an undrafted free agent out of Oklahoma State back in May. He stands to make a base salary of $450,000 for the 2016 season.

The Giants, unfortunately, waived Hunter coming out of the preseason before later signing him to their practice squad. He has been on and off of their active roster this season.

This season, Hunter has appeared in two games for the Giants and recorded four tackles and no interceptions.
