Giants Signing LB Kelvin Sheppard

Veteran LB Kelvin Sheppard announced on Twitter that he is signing a contract with the Giants.

Adam Schefter of ESPN reported last week that the Giants were bringing in Sheppard for a visit, so he was clearly on their radar.

Sheppard, 28, is a former third-round pick of the Bills back in 2011. He lasted over two years in Buffalo before he was traded to the Colts in return for DE Jerry Hughes.

Unfortunately, Sheppard lasted just over a year in Indianapolis before he waived at the start of the 2014 saeson and later signed by the Dolphins.

In 2015, Sheppard appeared in all 16 games for the Dolphins and recorded 105 tackles, no sacks, and two pass defenses.
