Giants Terrell Thomas Looking To Return For Season Opener

Ralph Vacchiano of New York Daily News reports that CB Terrell Thomas is aiming to be back with the team for its season opener against Dallas.

I am getting back to my old self (and) my goal is to still play in the season’s opener,” said Thomas. “I have been working my butt off every day. I have been in the weight room everyday and been watching film. I have been working hard to get better in everything I can do and not worry of the things I can’t do with my knee.”

Thomas has been absent from the team while recovering from an injured ACL. Thomas insists that his goal is to be ready for Sept ember 5th’s game against the Cowboys. It’s a long shot, but Giants fans should be happy to hear this after learning this morning that Prince Amukamara could be out for a month with a high-ankle sprain injury.
