Giants Signing DT Damon Harrison To A Five-Year, $46.25M Deal

Jordan Raanan of NJ.com reports that the Giants are on the verge of signing former Jets DT Damon Harrison.

  • Rand Getlin reports that Harrison receives a five-year, $46.25M deal from the Giants.
  • The contract also includes $24M guaranteed and $30M over the first three years, per Getlin.

The Titans reportedly had interest in Harrison as well.

Harrison, 27, wound up signing on with the Jets as an undrafted free agent out of William Penn back in 2012. Last year, he was brought back on a one-year restricted tender and was in position to be an unrestricted free agent.

In 2015, Harrison appeared in all 16 games for the Jets and recorded 72 tackles, a half sack, and a forced fumble.
