Giants Waive CB Kenneth Durden

The New York Giants announced Wednesday that they’ve placed CB Kenneth Durden on waivers.

The Giants just used a 2019 third-round pick on Western Michigan CB Sam Beal, so it’s clear that they had to make a move.

Durden, 26, wound up signing on with the Raiders as an undrafted free agent out of Youngstown State back in 2016. He was, unfortunately, waived coming out of the preseason before later signing on to the Raiders’ practice squad at the start of the season.

The Raiders brought Durden back on a future/reserve contract last year but elected to cut him loose coming out of the preseason. Durden signed on to the Titans’ practice squad before he was eventually cut loose.

Durden has yet to appear in an NFL game.
