Giants Waive Rookie DB Matt Smalley For Failure To Disclose Physical Condition

The New York Giants officially waived DB Matt Smalley on Thursday for a failure to disclose a physical condition.

Smalley, 22, wound up signing on with the Giants as an undrafted free agent out of Lafayette back in May. He signed a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the team.

During his college career, Smalley recorded 175 tackles, two forced fumbles, a recovery, seven interceptions and 25 pass defenses.
