Giants Cut S Rahim Moore & LB Ishaq Williams

The New York Giants announced Thursday that they’ve released S Rahim Moore and placed LB Ishaq Williams on waivers to make room for newly signed S Duke Ihenacho and DE Devin Taylor.

Moore, 27, is a former second-round pick by the Broncos of the 2011 NFL Draft. He lasted four years in Denver before joining the Texans as an unrestricted free agent.

Unfortunately, he was released after just one season in Houston. The Browns signed Moore to a one-year, $1.85 million contract last year but cut him loose before the start of the season.

Moore signed a future/reserve contract with the Giants this past January.

In 2015, Moore appeared in seven games for the Texans and recorded 16 tackles, one interception and two pass defenses before he was later benched. Pro Football Focus had him rated as the No. 56 safety out of 88 qualifying players.
