Giants Waived WR Darius Powe From I.R. With Settlement

The New York Giants officially waived WR Darius Powe from injured reserve with an injury settlement.

Powe, 23, signed on with the Giants as an undrafted free agent out of California back in May of last year. New York waived him shortly after but signed him to their practice squad once he cleared waivers.

The Giants re-signed Powe to a futures contract back in January. However, New York waived him with an injury designation a few weeks ago and he later reverted to their injured reserve list.

During his four-year college career at Cal, Powe recorded 104 receptions for 1,253 yards receiving (12 YPC) and 11 touchdowns.
