Giants Waiving QB Davis Webb

Jordan Raanan reports that the Giants are waiving QB Davis Webb on Sunday after making several claims.

A report from earlier mentioned that the Giants were open to trading Webb, but it looks like no deal ever surfaced for him. It would not be surprising to see him claimed off of waivers on Monday.

Webb, 23, is a former third-round pick of the Giants back in 2017. He’s currently in the second year of his four-year, $3.61 million contract and set to make a base salary of $604,151 for the 2018 season.

During his four-year college career with Texas Tech and California, Webb recorded 841 completions on 1,367 attempts (61.5 percent) for 9,852 passing yards (7.2 YPA), 83 touchdowns and 34 interceptions.
