Giants Worked Out 11 Offensive Linemen Including OT Jeremiah Poutasi

According to Jordan Raanan of ESPN, the Giants brought in 11 free agent offensive linemen for tryouts on Friday including OT Jeremiah Poutasi.

The full list of tryouts includes:

  1. G Kareem Are
  2. G Willie Beavers
  3. G Ethan Cooper
  4. G Kaleb Johnson
  5. OT Cameron Jefferson
  6. DT Greg Milhouse
  7. OT Storm Norton
  8. OT Jeremiah Poutasi
  9. G Cyril Richardson
  10. G Kristjan Sokoli
  11. G Zach Voytek

Poutasi, 23, is a former third-round pick of the Titans back in May of 2015. He was in the second year of his four-year, $3.385 million rookie contract when the Titans cut him loose coming out of the preseason.

The Jaguars signed him to their practice squad just a few days later and was eventually promoted to the active roster. Jacksonville decided to waive him coming out of the preseason and he’s been on and off of their practice squad this year.

In 2016, Poutasi appeared in one game for the Jaguars.

Beavers, 23, is a former fourth-round pick of the Vikings back in 2016. He signed a four-year, $2.87 million contract with the team but wound up being among their final roster cuts coming out of the preseason.

The Vikings later signed him to their practice squad and eventually promoted him to their active roster last season. The Patriots signed him to their practice squad but released him two weeks later.

In 2016, Beavers was active for two games.

During his college career at Western Michigan, Beavers was a three-year starter and a first-team All-MAC as a senior.
