Giants Worked Out LB Myke Tavarres

Adam Caplan of ESPN reports that the Giants brought in LB Myke Tavarres for a workout on Tuesday. Caplan adds that this the second tryout for Tavarres with New York since September.

Tavarres, 23, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Eagles as an undrafted free agent out of Incarnate Word back in May. However, the Eagles ultimately cut him loose coming out of the preseason and he has yet to catch on with another team.

During his senior season, Tavarres recorded 110 tackles, 8.5 sacks, three forced fumbles, and five pass defenses at Incarnate Word.
