Giants Working Out Kickers On Monday Including Garrett Hartley

Jason La Canfora of CBS Sports reports that the Giants are working out kickers on Monday, including Garrett Hartley.

La Canfora mentions that Tom Obarski struggling and Josh Brown suspended for the season opener, the Giants plan to take a look at some of the available kicking options.

For what it’s worth, other notable kickers include Josh Scobee, Randy Bullock and Kyle Brindza.

Hartley, 30, originally signed on with the Broncos as an undrafted free agent back in 2008. However, he lasted just a few months before he was cut loose.

Hartley later caught on with the Saints and spent five years in New Orleans with the Saints before he was released in December of 2013. After a brief stint with the Browns, Hartley signed with the Steelers during the preseason last year, but was cut loose a few months into the season.

In 2014, Hartley appeared in two games and converted all three of his field goal attempts and his two extra point tries.
