Giants Working Out Rookie QB Tajh Boyd On Friday

Art Stapleton of The Record reports that the Giants are bringing in rookie QB Tajh Boyd for a workout on Friday.

While the Giants are set with Eli Manning and Ryan Nassib in place as their top-two quarterbacks, the team has taken a look at quarterbacks like Matt Scott and Tyler Wilson in recent weeks, according to Stapleton.

Boyd reportedly tried out for the Bills earlier in the week, so teams are showing at least some interest in the former Jets sixth-round pick.

Boyd put together a great college career that includes several ACC records, but there has always been concerns about how his game translates to the NFL.

During his four-year career at Clemson, Boyd throw for 11,904 yards and completed 64.3 percent of his passes to go along with 107 touchdowns and 39 interceptions.
