Giants WR Dwayne Harris Out For Season With Foot Fracture

Adam Schefter reports that Giants WR Dwayne Harris suffered a foot fracture and will miss the remainder of the 2017 season.

You can expect the Giants to place him on injured reserve in the coming days and someone to their roster.

The Giants’ receiving corps was hit hard on Sunday, to say the least. Harris is out for the year and Odell Beckham Jr is likely done for the season as well while Brandon Marshall and Sterling Shepard also went down with injuries of their own.

Harris, 30, is a former sixth-round pick of the Cowboys back in 2011. He spent four years in Dallas before signing a five-year, $17.5 million contract that included $7.1 million guaranteed with the Giants in 2015.

Harris was set to make base salaries of $3.225 million over the remaining two years of the agreement when he agreed to a restructured contract this past March.

In 2017, Entering today’s game, Harris had appeared in all four games for the Giants and totaled 104 kick return yards and 10 punt return yards for the Giants.
