Giants WR Roger Lewis Arrested For OVI

TMZ Sports reports that Giants WR Roger Lewis was arrested for operating a vehicle while impaired this past weekend.

According to the report, Lewis was initially pulled over while driving his 2012 Audi on June 4 in Reynoldsburg, Ohio for speeding and tinted windows. During the traffic stop, cops smelled weed and noticed signs of intoxication and asked Lewis to take a breathalyzer test, but he refused.

Lewis was then taken into custody around 5 AM on an OVI charge and later released.

Lewis, 23, wound up signing a three-year, $1.62 million contract with the Giants as an undrafted free agent out of Bowling Green last year. He stands to make base salaries of $540,000 and $630,000 over the next two years of the agreement.

In 2016, Lewis appeared in 13 games for the Giants and caught seven passes for 97 yards receiving and two touchdowns.
