Golden Tate On The Chopping Block?

ESPN’s John Clayton mentioned that Seattle Seahawks could actually cut last years second-round pick WR Golden Tate.

Pete Carroll is not afraid to make bold moves,” Clayton said.  “Nothing surprises you when you get to these cuts.”

Clayton notes that Tate so far has been outplayed by undrafted rookie Doug Baldwin which ultimately leaves him sitting dangerously close to the chopping block.

Teams will have to make serious cuts as they’re required to lower their rosters from 80 players to 53 by Saturday. Even though Tate has struggled to be effective, it would still be surprising to see Carroll move on without him so quickly.
