Rand Getlin reports that the free agent WR Percy Harvin will take his first visit to Buffalo and meet with the Bills following his release from the Jets earlier today.

According to Ian Rapoport, the Patriots are the “team to watch” for WR Percy Harvin after his release from the Jets, and that there is a “good chance” he ends up in New England.

Harvin is likely going to take a one-year deal somewhere, where he can re-establish his value.  New England makes a lot of sense considering the stability of the franchise, offensive firepower, and history of taking on guys with character concerns.

In 2014, Harvin has caught 51 passes for 483 yards receiving while contributing another 202 yards on 33 carries (6.1 YPC) and two total touchdowns over the course of 13 games.

Pro Football Focus has him rated as the No. 34 receiver out of 110 qualifying players.
