Good New Regarding Ahmad Bradshaw’s Injury?

Mike Garafolo of the Star-Ledger reports that Giants RB Ahmad Bradshaw is out indefinitely after suffering a cracked bone in his foot  during last weeks game against the Miami Dolphins.

Bradshaw has had previous injuries to his feet which required screws to be inserted in both feet. It seemed as though his recent injury was related to one of the screws but it was found to be a broken bone.

Giants head coach Tom Coughlin said that a decision has yet to be made regarding a possible surgery for Bradshaw to repair his broken foot. Such a procedure could cost Bradshaw the rest of the season.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported that Bradshaw’s injury is “not serious injury — should play Sunday. No surgery (needed).”

Overall very good news for the team and Bradshaw as the situation appeared to be pretty bad before Schefter’s report. If Bradshaw is unable to go in Sunday’s game Brandon Jacobs figures to be the benefactor despite his struggles.
