Green Bay Packers WR Greg Jennings Misses Practice

Tom Silverstein of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel is reporting on Twitter that Green Bay Packers wide receiver Greg Jennings was held out of practice on Tuesday.

Jennings suffered a groin injury towards the end of Sunday’s 30-22 loss to the San Francisco 49ers. Jennings had five catches on Sunday for thirty-four yards, which is a fairly average day by Jenning’s standards.

Running back James Starks also missed practice today because of a turf toe injury, but the Packers backfield isn’t exactly being over utilized by the team.

With Green Bay hosting the Chicago Bears on Thursday night, Jennings has just one more day of practice, so it seems like a possibility that could be held out of Week 2. Donald Driver figures to see more playing if Jennings is unable to go. He only played three snaps against the 49ers.
