Greg Olson Planning To Become Rams QBs Coach, Despite Interest From Bills

Adam Schefter is reporting that former Jaguars OC Greg Olson is planning to take the Rams’ QBs coach position, despite interest from the Bills regarding their offensive coordinator job.

Olson and Chiefs co-offensive coordinator Brad Childress came up as candidates for the Bills’ offensive coordinator position in recent days, but it appears as though Buffalo will have to continue their search with Olson close to joining the Rams.

Olson, 53, began his NFL coaching career with the 49ers back in 2001 as their quarterbacks coach. He’s worked for a number of teams including the Bears, Lions, Rams, Buccaneers, Jaguars and Raiders since then before returning to Jacksonville in 2015 to run their offense.

Unfortunately, the Jaguars elected to fire Olson back in October after they lost to the Titans.
