Art Stapleton reports that New York Giants wide receiver Hakeem Nicks, who is recovering from a broken foot, is close to returning to the field.
“Nicks (broken foot) has started running & will begin cutting soon. He believes he’s on target to return mid-August.”, tweeted Stapleton.
Nicks is coming off of a great season for the Giants, catching 76 passes for 1,192 yards and 7 touchdowns. He broke his foot early in organized team activities (OTA’s), and was expected to be limited in training camp anyway, but this is great news for the team, as he was an integral part of their passing game during last season’s championship run.
