Harbaugh Confirms Brandon Jacobs Injury Not Season Ending

San Francisco 49er’s head coach Jim Harbaugh mentioned that RB Brandon Jacobs will ” miss some time” following what appeared to be a pretty significant injury to his left leg.

Initially the team feared that the injury was to his ACL and that he could be done for the season. Thankfully, that’s not the case. Harbaugh added that it’s “not the you-don’t-come-back-from” type of injury. He is expected to undergo an MRI on Sunday.

It was not a good day for 49er’s running backs as rookie LaMichael James was also injured after a lineman stepped on his ankle. He’s expected back on Monday for practice.
