“Highly Unlikely” Jaguars Fire HC Gus Bradley If They Lose Today, Changes Possible Later On This Season

According to Jason La Canfora, Jaguars HC Gus Bradley is “highly unlikely” to lose his job, even if the team loses to the Colts in London and opens the season 0-4.

La Canfora mentions that owner Shad Khan is not considering any drastic moves at this point and plans to remain loyal to Bradley and GM Dave Caldwell for now.

However, La Canfora says that this does not preclude ownership from re-considering possible changes later on in the season. If the team doesn’t turn things around, La Canfora says that “drastic changes are expected” at some point.

Should Jacksonville part with Bradley during the year, Doug Marrone would likely be elevated to interim head coach.

Since being hired as the Jaguars’ head coach back in 2013, Bradley has led to team to a record of 12-39 (23.5 percent), which has been good enough for third in the division each year and is currently worst in the AFC South.
