Houston Texans WR Andre Johnson Had Knee Scoped Earlier In Month

Houston Texans wide receiver Andre Johnson said on Tuesday that he underwent arthroscopic surgery on his left knee in early May, Stephanie Stradley reports on Twitter.

Stradley states that Johnson had no pain before the scope, and has no pain now.  He is sitting out the Texans’ OTAs, but expects to be ready for training camp.

Johnso, who will be 31 when the new season begins, has been nagged by injuries recently, having ankle surgery last offseason and then hamstring surgery during last season which caused him to miss nine regular season games.
