Injury Notes: Bears, Lions, Saints, & Titans

Bears

  • The Bears have officially ruled out NT Eddie Goldman (ankle) RB Ka’Deem Carey (hamstring) of Sunday’s Week 3 game against the Cowboys.

Lions

The Lions have downgraded the following players to out for Week 3:

Saints

  • Saints WR Willie Snead, who is listed as questionable with a toe injury, said he will be a game-time decision for Monday night’s game. (Josh Katzenstein)
  • Regardless, Katzenstein expects Snead to play during Week 3.
  • Mike Triplett of ESPN writes that LT Terron Armstead (knee) appears “highly doubtful” for Sunday after missing an entire week of practice.

Titans

Titans HC Delanie Walker (hamstring) sounded unsure if he will play during Sunday’s game against the Raiders.

We’ll see how I feel tomorrow and go from there,’’ Walker said, via Jim Wyatt of the Titans’ official site. “We’re just trying to do the best plan to see if I can play on Sunday. It is getting better, it is just a nag. … I have done this before, where I haven’t practiced all week and still went out there and had a great game. So I don’t think that will be an issue.”

In addition to Walker, the Titans listed WR Kendall Wright and LB Derrick Morgan as questionable with hamstring injuries of their own.

I am getting real close to being able to come back,’’ said Wright. “So we’ll see what happens. … I needed to be back out there and I’m glad I was able to practice a full week.”
