Jack Del Rio Done In Jacksonville?

Gene Frenette of the Florida Times-Union writes that Jack Del Rio‘s time as the Jacksonville Jaguars head coach looks to be coming to an end.

Of all the punches to the gut the Jaguars have absorbed under Del Rio, the way they ultimately went down 30-20 Sunday to the Cincinnati Bengals, it now seems only a matter of time before [Jaguars owner Wayne] Weaver extinguishes the hottest coaching seat in the NFL behind the Miami Dolphins.”

Jacksonville will have their bye in Week 9 which would seem like the obvious time to make a change if they play to do so during the season. Their next three games are against Pittsburgh, Baltimore, and Houston which could leave them with a 1-7 record at the half way point.
