Jaguars Bring In Former Eagles K Alex Henery For A Workout

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Jacksonville Jaguars brought in free agent kick Derek Dimke and Alex Henery for workouts.

However, with Josh Scobee feeling better, neither player was signed to a contract.

Henery was cut loose by the Eagles last weekend as they trimmed their roster down to 53 players. Henery ultimately lost the starting job rookie Cody Parkey.

Henery, 27, converted 1 of 3 field goal attempts this preseason. Last year, Henery was successful on 82.1 percent of his field goal attempts and made one of two tries from at least 50 yards.
