Jaguars Claim LB Allen Bradford Off Of Waivers From The Giants

According to Mark Long of the Associated Press, the Jacksonville Jaguars have claimed recently waived LB Allen Bradford off of from the Giants.

Bradford, 25, was a 2011 sixth-round pick by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He spent two years with the Seahawks before being waived and later claimed by the Giants. Last year, he appeared in 10 games for New York and totaled four tackles.

Bradford began his NFL career as a running back before converting to linebacker in 2012 with the Seahawks. In fact, Bradford was a highly rated linebacker at the high school level before committing to USC where Pete Carroll changed his position.

Bradford could see time in a special teams role, but he’ll clearly have to compete for a roster spot in camp.
