Jaguars Cut WR Jason Hill, Make Coaching Changes

Tania Ganguli of the Florida Time-Union reports that the Jacksonville Jaguars have waived WR Jason Hill after what has been a very disappointing season for him and the Jaguars receivers.

Jacksonville is the first team to start addressing their issues mid-season rather than finish out the year. Hill caught 25 balls for 267 yards receiving and found the end-zone three times.

ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the Jaguars they have fired wide receivers coach Johnny Cox and has been replaced by quarterbacks coach Mike Sheppard. Offensive coordinator Dirk Koetter will handle Sheppards previous duties along with the responsibilities of the offensive coordinator.
