Jaguars Designate OT Josh Wells As Player To Return From I.R.

The Jacksonville Jaguars officially designated OT Josh Wells as their player to return from injured reserve on Monday.

Wells, 24, wound up going undrafted out of James Madison back in May of 2014 before signing a three-year, $1.53 million contract with the Jaguars. He stands to make a base salary of $600,000 for the 2016 season before testing the open market as a restricted free agent next year.

Jacksonville elected to place Wells on injured reserve coming out of the preseason as they got their roster down to 53 players.

In 2014, Well appeared in 12 games for the Jaguars.
