Jaguars Designate OT Josh Wells To Return From Injured Reserve

The Jacksonville Jaguars officially designated OT Josh Wells to return from injured reserve on Friday.

This officially opens a three-week window of time for the Jaguars to add him to their active roster or he would revert back to injured reserve.

Wells, 27, wound up going undrafted out of James Madison back in May of 2014 before signing a three-year, $1.53 million contract with the Jaguars.

The Jaguars picked up Wells’ option for the 2018 season this past February. He’s in line to be an unrestricted free agent in 2019.

In 2018, Well has appeared in five games for the Jaguars before he was placed on injured reserve last month.
