Vito Stellino of the Florida Times Union reports that the Jacksonville Jaguars and K Josh Scobee have restarted talks regarding a contract extension.
The Jaguars franchised Scobee back in March, but haven’t spoken to one another in recent months. The deadline for negotiating a new contract with player that’s been given franchise designation is July 16th, so they still have time get things sorted out. Matt Prater‘s recent four-year deal worth $13 million figures to be a comparable starting point for the two sides.
