According to the Florida Times Union, the Jaguars are “optimistic” that RB Maurice Jones-Drew will be able to suit for Sunday’s game against the Seahawks.
HC Gus Bradley told reporters on Monday that Jones-Drew suffered a tendon strain during Sunday’s loss to the Raiders.
“We feel like he’s got a chance to be back on Sunday,” Bradley said.
Bradley mentioned that they expect to know more regarding Jones-Drew’s status on Wednesday, but if he’s unable to play, the Jaguars would likely turn to Justin Forsett and Jordan Todman against the Seahawks.
