Jaguars Place LS Matt Overton On Injured Reserve, Sign LS Colin Holba

The Jacksonville Jaguars announced Tuesday that they’ve placed LS Matt Overton on injured reserve and signed LS Colin Holba to a contract, per John Oesher.

  • Mike Kaye first reported that the Jaguars were signing LS Colin Holba.

Overton, 32, originally signed on with the Seahawks as an undrafted free agent out of Western Washington back in 2010. He spent a few months in Seattle before catching on with the Colts in 2012.

The Jaguars signed Overton to a contract during the preseason after LS Carson Tinker suffered torn right ACL.

In 2017, Overton has appeared in nine games for the Jaguars.
