Jaguars Place OT Tanner Hawkinson On Reserve/Retired List

The Jacksonville Jaguars announced Friday that they’ve placed recently acquired OT Tanner Hawkinson on the reserve/retired list.

The Jaguars claimed Hawkinson off of waivers from the Eagles a little over a week ago, so this comes as a bit of a surprise.

Hawkinson, 25, was taken in the fifth round of the 2013 draft by the Bengals and spent two years in Cincinnati before he was among their final roster cuts at the start of last season. He briefly signed on to the 49ers’ practice squad before the Eagles added him to their active roster in October.

Hawkinson was set to make a base salary of $675,000 for the 2016 season.

In 2015, Hawkinson was active for two games for the Eagles.
