Jaguars Plan On Retaining A Number Of Their Free Agents

Jacksonville Jaguars GM Gene Smith was asked about the teams plans for free agents: FS Dwight Lowery, CB Rashean Mathis, DE Jeremy Mincey, and K Josh Scobee.

Smith mentioned that he believes that they’ll be able to retain these players for the years to come.

“Certainly those are players that we see being a part of our future,” Smith said, via the Florida Times Union.

Jacksonville is sitting on a pile of cash this offseason so if they want to keep these players, they’ll certainly have the means to do so.
