Jaguars head coach Mike Mularkey told reporters that Jalen Parmele will remain the team’s starting running back for Week 12’s game against the Titans, via Jaguars twitter feed.
Rashad Jennings has been filling for the injured Maurice Jones-Drew, but has been terribly ineffective since taking over. Parmele stepped in and produce 80 yards on 24 carries, but this came against a very tough Texans defense. It’s hard to say what you can expect from Parmele moving forward, especially considering that Jones-Drew could be back in Week 13, but he is their best option for the time being.
