Jaguars Promote CB Dee Delaney To Active Roster

The Jacksonville Jaguars announced Saturday that they’ve promoted CB Dee Delaney to their active roster.

Delaney takes the roster spot of RB Leonard Fournette, who is serving a one-game suspension.

Delaney, 23, wound up signing on with the Jaguars as an undrafted free agent out of Miami this past April. He agreed to a three-year, $1.71 million contract but was waived coming out of the preseason.

The Jaguars later signed Delaney to their practice squad before calling him up in November. He returned to the Jaguars’ practice squad soon after.

In 2018, Delaney has appeared in one game for the Jaguars but has yet to record a statistic.
